About Us
We believe that people of faith are the difference makers in our society. Why? Because they believe they are called by God to make a difference. Deep convictions produce leaders. By speaking to those who hold faith convictions, you can influence the influencers. According to Barna Research, 36 percent of US adults classify themselves as “born again.” In 2007, the Gallup Poll reported that 77 percent believe that the Bible is the actual or inspired word of God.
Carey Kinsolving, our founder and CEO, is a born again Christian journalist who understands public relations as a media insider. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Master of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. Early in his career, he wrote journey-of-faith stories for The Washington Post and other major newspapers that received his stories through The New York Times News Service. His subjects have ranged from profiles of well-known figures such as Elizabeth Dole, the late Tom Landry, Jimmy Carter and George Gallup Jr. to journey-of-faith stories of everyday Americans.
For the last six years, he has written the Kids Talk About God syndicated newspaper column distributed by Creators Syndicate. The Kids Talk About God gift book has been printed twice: once by J. Countryman, the nation’s largest inspirational gift book publisher, and a second time by Hallmark for distribution in its Gold Crown stores. Now, the book has a voice in that it has been converted to a talking book on the Kids Talk About God website.
To gather initial material for the Kids Talk About God™ newspaper column, Kinsolving launched the global Children's Bible Contest publicity campaign. The contest offered a trip around the world as the grand prize. Willard Scott featured the contest on the Today Show. The Mission Explorers Video Series, which Kinsolving produced and directed, became a No. 1 seller for a division of Thomas Nelson Publishers.
Kinsolving has also directed a series of 30-second children’s interviews for an ABC TV affiliate. Both Mission Explorers and 60 interviews with children are streaming on the Kids Talk About God website.
In 2005, Kinsolving published the Kids Color Me Bible online as part of the Kids Click Menu. Each of 54 Bible stories is illustrated by children’s art and features their answers to Bible-related questions. In the same year, Kinsolving’s team moved all online content to a database website that allows the creation of special web pages that wrap a client’s message around the Kids Talk About God website. This advance in technology makes many kinds of strategic partnerships possible.
At this time, we see a great opportunity for companies to connect with families of faith by offering their children a chance to write and draw for publication in the Kids Color Me Bible Gospel of John. If a company doesn’t have a children’s product or service, we can work with you to design a prize package that will generate a lot of good publicity. This promotion will be launched worldwide under the name of Children’s International Arts Festival™.
Inspirational Public Relations is ready to connect you with families of faith. Are you ready?
